Basement Flood Protector (BFP) sells a variety of basement waterproofing products (sold nationwide) and services (serving the Chicago area) including sump pump-related products and sewer backwater valves. Basement Flood Protector Inc. has been in business since 1974 serving the greater Chicagoland area. We offer both regional services for your basement flooding needs plus we manufacture The Protector® battery backup sump pump systems, which are sold nationwide. We are a full service basement flood protection company offering both the products and services to correct any basement water problem.
We are a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, various trade organizations, and Chambers of Commerce.
Basement Flood Protector, Inc. is the manufacturer of The Protector® battery backup sump pump system. This premium system is available through several distributors across the country, including Basement Flood Protector, Inc. The company is currently in the process of making the system available for distribution in additional locations. Until such distributors are secured, purchasing directly from the company is welcome! Currently seeking distributors in Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, Massachusetts.

We genuinely care about providing quality products and services for homeowners while making a modest profit. That is why so much of our work is derived from referrals, and it is the way we intend to continue to do business.
